Be met at your hotel, rental house, or destination of your choice with all your gear to make your rental experience as hassle free as possible. Following the rental, the bikes will be picked-up from wherever you are in the valley.

Experience the beauty of Sonoma wine country with all five senses on a guided bike tour visiting local wineries. Get out from behind the windshield, slow down and experience wine country from a whole new perspective - by bike! You'll join a small group (limited to 12 guests), hosted by a knowledgeable, local tour guide who will enhance your education of the vine-to-bottle process. Guided groups ride at a relaxed pace, averaging just 3 to 5 miles of pedaling between winery visits. On the half-day bike tour, you'll visit two wineries and finish at ~2:00 p.m., leaving your afternoon free to explore Sonoma.

Tour meets at our Sonoma shop, approximately 1 mile south of Sonoma Plaza, at 9:30 a.m. You will be greeted by your tour guide who will assist you with your bike fit and operation. Following a pre-ride orientation, tour groups generally depart close to 10:00 a.m.

You'll ride 3 to 5 miles to the first winery; tour guides will often punctuate longer biking legs with a pause to enjoy the scenery, take photos and give some background about the vineyard growth cycle or local history, to the degree the group is interested in learning about these topics. At the winery, your Tour Guide will introduce you to your Tasting Room Host who will lead you through a tasting flight of wines and discuss any of hte wine-making philosophies and practices that are unique to that winery. Tastings generally last about an hour at each winery.

After your first tasting, the group will get back on the bikes for another 3 to 5 mile biking leg along Sonoma's back roads before arriving at a second local winery for a tasting. Following your second wine-tasting experience, you'll ride another 3 to 5 miles back to conclude your tour at the bike shop where your adventure started. The half-day tour typically concludes around 2:00 p.m.
